Fire Permits

 

Cost for a residential fire pit permit is $15.00. 

 

Fire pits must be 10 feet away from any combustible structure, must have an apron constructed of non-combustible material such as stone, brick, concrete or asphalt and the fire pit must be screened and can only burn clean wood.  If your smoke is black, you should extinguish the fire immediately. 

 

Burning is not permitted when winds are in excess of 12kms/hour and you must keep a water source close by.  For further regulations and apron sizes, please review the fire pit regulations below.
