Cannabis Home Cultivation Permit

Cannabis became legal on October 17, 2019.  Under federal legislation, adults can grow up to 4 plants per household from seeds bought from licensed cannabis retailers.

 

If you wish to grow cannabis in your household in Sexsmith, you must apply for a Cannabis Home Cultivation Permit.  There is no cost for the permit.  If you are a renter, permission from your landlord is included on the permit.

 

Click here to download the Cannabis Home Cultivation Permit and either e-mail the permit to reception@sexsmith.ca or drop off the permit during office hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  The office is closed during the lunch hour and on Statutory holiday.
